Edlong – Workspace Transformation

The existing buildings housed manufacturing, warehousing, R+D Labs, and office spaces. As the company grew rapidly, each building became less efficient, a patched solution of old and new, where optimization for additional growth required a look into how to become more efficient, bring in new equipment, and enhance technology. In looking to the future, Edlong evaluated investment opportunities for either renovating their existing facility or the development of a new ground up campus that would incorporate their current and future growth plans to be best in class and state of the art.

Edlong brought in Workplace Studio as the leader of their project team to conduct analysis, review existing conditions, and recommend plans for going forward with either option.  In the end, remodel of their existing facilities was the selected option.  Workplace Studio then developed the complete design, brought the Edlong brand to the workplace, and today continues to manage adds, moves, and changes in their completely refreshed portfolio.
